THE MASK IS OFF. DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS WANT TO KEEP PARENTS IN THE DARK.
HOUSE EDUCATION DEMOCRATS WERE HOSTILE AND USED FALSE AND TORTURED ARGUMENTS TO PREVENT PARENTS FROM RECEIVING THE TRANSPARENCY THAT THEY DESERVE. CHAIRMAN MCNAMARA STRUGGLED TO SILENCE ME, AS BEST HE COULD. PARENTS NEED TO DEMAND BETTER. WE NEED ACCOUNTABILITY AND CHANGE!
Yesterday the House Education Committee heard testimony on my Transparency in Education Act. This bill would mandate schools to post on their website and make available in the school library, all the instructional materials that affect our children in their classrooms.
That includes the curriculum, books and other instructional materials. And also, a copy of the teacher manuals and the professional development training materials.
You may ask, why do we need those? Because they help parents understand HOW the topics are being taught. They give parents insight into the culture that administrators are promoting in their schools.
Please listen to the end of this video. You will see how hostile Democrat politicians are to transparency in our schools. They simply do not want parents to be able to see the materials.
I have seen some of the materials and I can tell you that they are by and large, ideologically driven.
Our children are being fed a BIPOC 'centered' education, that relies on activist books, tests and discussion. Parents need to KNOW what is being taught, how it is being taught and the ideology that it is developing in our children.
We need to get schools back to the goal of academic excellence. We need them to understand their job is to maximize our children's potential and prepare them well for adult life - Not indoctrinate them into the racialized and sexualize ideology of the progressive left.
80% of Rhode Island's children are NOT proficient in Math. 67% are not proficient in language arts. This is appalling! Parents must see what is being taught and how it is being taught. Parents must be involved in their children's education.
Educators must get back to the goal of schools: to prepare our children with the knowledge and skills they need to have successful adult lives.
